The following pages contain a few townships from the 1901 Pictou County Census which have been transcribed by either me or a generous volunteer years ago. I have abandoned this project and am no longer accepting transcripts for posting nor am I transcribing any more townships at this time. I had transferred this information to a genealogy site that offered to host it and take it over, but they have also abandoned the poject, not even leaving the information that was available on the internet anywhere I can find it. Therefore, I have decided to repost what I had so that it is available to anyone who cannot make it to their local genealogy library or Family History Center. I hope you find what you need or at least a clue!

The families are in the order they are found in the census in an attempt to make it easier to find them when you go to look at the film. The information includes names, birthdates & places, and professions. Due to the size of the project, it will encompass several web pages, each township having its own page.
Also, please note that Pictou County begins on the roll that holds the end of Lunenburg County and ends on another roll with another county beginning after Pictou ends. Transcriptions are Pictou County ONLY.
